St. Martin Council on Aging is Recruiting Board Members.
The St. Martin COA is seeking community members who are passionate about supporting our local seniors.
Board members will be elected by the general membership during SMCOA’s Annual meeting on September 17. Nominations are now being accepted. There are currently three vacancies to be filled. The term of office is three years; Board members serve two terms.
Nominations can be submitted by contacting Millie B. Huval, Chairman of the Board Development/ Nominating Committee, via SMCOA at (337) 3323063 by June 18 or by nominations from the floor on election day.
Interested parties must complete an application and membership card prior to the annual meeting and be prepared to submit a resume verifying previous board experience. A copy of the application may be picked up at the SMCOA office at 391 Cannery Road, Breaux Bridge, and may also be found on the agency’s website at www.stmartincouncilonaginginc. com.
