Average gasoline prices in Louisiana have risen 3.3 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.68/g today, according to Gas-Buddy’s survey of 2,436 stations in Louisiana. Prices in Louisiana are unchanged versus a month ago and stand 35.4 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has decreased 2.4 cents in the last week and stands at $3.465 per gallon.
According to Gas-Buddy price reports, the cheapest station in Louisiana was priced at $2.31/g, while the most expensive was $3.59/g, a difference of $1.28/g. The lowest price in the state Monday was $2.31/g while the highest was $3.59/g, a difference of $1.28/g.
The national average price of gasoline has fallen 3.8 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.09/g. The national average is down 6.9 cents per gallon from a month ago and stands 41.0 cents per gallon lower than a year ago, according to GasBuddy data compiled from more than 11 million weekly price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country.
