Broussard – A Homegoing Celebration was held on Saturday, February 29, 202, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Roy E. Brown.
Interment followed in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Roy E. Brown was born December 28, 1940, to the late Lucien Brown Jr. and Rose Bell Brown of Broussard, La. He departed this life at 7:48 a.m. Sunday, February 23, 2020.

Hemphill, Texas – Thomas R. Patin, age 77, of Hemphill, Texas entered eternal rest Thursday, February 27, 2020, at his residence.
He was born in Breaux Bridge, La. January 25, 1943, to Harold Joseph and Nursey Hebert Patin. He spent his formative years in Baton Rouge, La. and graduated from Redemptorist High School. He is a veteran of the US Air Force.

Parks – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at St. Louis Chapel for Zerbin Albert Hypolite, 81, who passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2020, at his residence.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville from 7 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
A rosary will be prayed at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
Rev. Ed Degeyter will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Melissa Narcisse. Gift Bearers will be Sage Benjamin and Am’bria Mallery.
