Shelton Hayes Sr.

St. Martinville – Funeral services celebrating the life of Shelton Hayes, Sr. will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2020, at Our Saviors Church in Broussard. Pastor Gabriel Smith will officiate.
Following the services, Mr. Hayes will be laid to rest at St. Michaels Mausoleum in St. Martinville.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Evangeline Funeral Home in St. Martinville on Tuesday from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m., and on Wednesday from 8 a.m. until 2:15 p.m.

Elizebelle L. Menard

Breaux Bridge – A Funeral Service was held at 3 p.m. on Monday, March 9, 2020, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Elizebelle Landry Menard, 88, who passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at her residence.
Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Monday.
Micah and Tasha Guidry officiated at the Funeral Service. Vocalist was Jaycee Champagne.
Interment followed at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.

Alton Alcide Peter Rodriguez

New Iberia – Funeral Services were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Alton Alcide Peter Rodriguez, 84, who passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2020, at his home surrounded by his family.
Interment followed at St. Bernard No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Rev. Bill Melancon officiated.
A gathering of family and friends was at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Friday and will continued on Saturday from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.
A rosary, led by Deacon Durk Viator, was prayed at 6 p.m. on Friday.

Gary H. Veteto

Gary H. Veteto, 69, of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana passed away on May 26, 2019. He was born at Fort Campbell, Kentucky on October 28, 1950, the son of Norma Daughhetee Veteto and Hobart H. “Red” Veteto.
Survivors include his wife, Dena Lynn Moore Veteto; and his brother, Tracy H. Veteto (Nina) of Chandler, N.C. Gary was preceded in death by his parents.

Frances E. Thomassee

Cecilia – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 11, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church for Frances Elaine “Nin” Thomassee, 85, who passed away on Monday, March 9, 2020.
Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
She is survived by her brothers, Frank Jr. and Bryant Thomassee; and sisters, Mrs. Donald (Jacqueline) Dauphine, Lynda T. Guidry, Mrs. Curnal (Cheryl) Guidry, Mrs. Tom (Druscilla) Chauffe and Mrs. Oran (Lucette) Vincent.
Pellerin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
