Charles J. Douet

Breaux Bridge – A graveside service was held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2020, at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 for Charles J. Douet, 71, who passed away on Monday, March 16, 2020, at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Charles was in law enforcement for 28½ years and belonged to the Louisiana Sheriffs’ Association, Masonic Lodge and C&S Hunting Club. He will be remembered for his dedication to law enforcement and the people he served in his community.

Annette Bienvenu

St. Martinville – A private memorial service will be held at a later date for Annette Bienvenu, 67, who passed away on Monday, March 16, 2020.
She is survived by her sisters, Marie Bradberry and Mrs. Dale (Jenny) Geoffroy.
Pellerin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Ashley Marie Duda

Breaux Bridge – Ashley Marie Duda, 35, was given her last rites on March 6, 2020.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
She is survived by her guardians, Mary Banquer and her husband, Mark.
Pellerin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Lazaire J. Dugas

St. Martinville - A Graveside Service was held aon Tuesday, March 17, at St. Michael Mausoleum for “LJ” Lazaire John Dugas, 79, who passed away on Monday, March 16, 2020.
He is survived by his spouse, Madeline JaneSuard Dugas; son, Casey Dugasy; daughters, Francine Dugas, Mrs. Craig (Tracey) Andreas and Cherie Dugas; brothers, Huey Sr., Bobby and Ned Dugas; sisters, Mrs. August (Terry) Dupuis, Vickie Duplechain, Mrs. Durphy (Louella) Blanchard and Mrs. Junny (Joy) Thibodeaux; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Lucy Frugé Devillier

Breaux Bridge – A Funeral Service was held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2020, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Lucy Frugé Devillier, 76, who passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2020, at her residence.
Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday, March 14, 2020.
A rosary was prayed at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday.
Deacon Marcel “Butch” Hebert officiated at the Funeral Service. Readers were Herbert Courville and Judy Olivier.
Interment followed at St. Bernard Mausoleum - No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
