Breaux Bridge – A Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, Sept. 15, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Earl “Pete” Joseph Melancon, 92, who passed away on Friday, Sept. 11, 2020.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Thelma Trahan Melancon; six sons, Michael, Chris, Francis, Mark, Troy and Todd Melancon; daughter, Mrs. Danny (Sally) Comb; sister, Mary A. Melancon; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 18, at Notre Dame Catholic Church for Gordon R. Mitchell, 77, who passed away on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2020.
Survivors include his brother, Norman Mitchell; sisters, Sidney M. Sam, Mrs. Walter (Geneva) Foote andMrs. Willie (Margaret) Lewis; daughters, Tiffieny Mitchell and Kia Jones; and two grandchildren.

St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, Sept. 12, at Notre Dame Catholic Church for Rose Marie Narcisse, 84, who passed away on Monday, Sept. 7, 2020.
She is survived by her son, Leonard Narcisse; two daughters, Glenda N. George and Tamalichia S. Narcisse; three sisters, Mrs. Worance (Eula) Jones, Ann E. Celestaine and Lucinda Hurd; two brothers, Weldon and Delton Narcisse; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
