Breaux Bridge – A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Ernest “Monique” Cormier Sr., 87, who passed away on Friday, October 27, 2023 in Baton Rouge.
Father Garrett McIntyre will officiate the Memorial Mass. Inurnment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery #2.
St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Oct. 24 at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church for Joanna Latiolais Armentor, 84, who died on Oct. 21, 2023.
She is survived by her daughter, Pamella Armentor; son, Allen Armentor Jr.; one grandchildand one great-grandchild; siblings, Nancy Theriot, Lee “LJ” Latiolais Jr. and James Latiolais.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Allen Armentor Sr.

Cecilia – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Edith Marie Angelle, 96, who passed away on October 22, 2023 at J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home.
A visitation will take place at the funeral home in Cecilia on Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. A rosary will be prayed at 12 p.m. on Wednesday.
Breaux Bridge – A Funeral Service was held at 12 p.m. on Monday, October 16, 2023, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel for Curtis Joseph LeBlanc, 82, who passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at Avanti Assisted Living.
A visitation took place at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge on Monday from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Deacon Marcel “Butch” Hebert officiated at the funeral service. Reader was Michelle LeBlanc.
Entombment followed at St. Bernard Cemetery #2.
Cecilia – A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Oct. 7 at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church for Shirley Guidry Wiltz, 82, who died on Oct. 2, 2023.
She is survived by her children, Kenneth ans Kerry Wiltz and Tracy Hebert; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, Alysse Landry and Samuel Landry; siblings, Leonard and Aristille Guidry, Lucy LeGrange, Cecile LeGrange and Mary Ann LeGrand.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Nolan Wiltz.
