Cecilia – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, December 17, 2021, at St. Joseph Catholic Church for John Harvey LeBlanc.

Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home in Cecilia from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Friday.

A rosary was prayed at 1 p.m. on Friday.

Rev. Gregory Cormier officiated at the Funeral Mass. Interment followed at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia.

Pallbearers were Jason LeBlanc, Ed LeBlanc, Tommy LeBlanc, Kelly LeBlanc, Guy LeBlanc and Collin Theriot.

St. Martinville – A Funeral Service was held at 2 p.m. on Monday, December 20, 2021, at Jenkins Memorial Baptist Church for Betty T. Borel, 87, who passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021, at her residence.

Visiting hours were observed at Jenkins Memorial Baptist Church from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Monday.

Pastor Jessie Charpentier officiated at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at the Methodist Cemetery in St. Martinville.
