Woodley Richard

Lafayette – Funeral services were held on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at 2 p.m. in the Sunrise Chapel at Walters Funeral Home for Woodley Richard, 83, who passed on Friday, June 4, 2021.
Deacon Ken Soignier officiated the services. Interment was in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation hours were observed at Walters Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, from 8 a.m. until service time at 2 p.m. A rosary was prayed at 11 a.m.
Woodley is survived by his two daughters, Tina Hebert and her husband Chris of Breaux Bridge, and Anaise Letchworth and her husband Dwayne of Youngsville; one step-son, Brent Bearb of Rayne; Woodley’s girlfriend, Ella Jane Baudoin of Lafayette; two sisters, Mary Richard of Port Barre and Ann Roy and her husband Raymond of Scott; one brother, Ernest Richard and his wife Roberta of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and six grandchildren, Michael Nowell and his wife Alex of Youngsville, Dylan Nowell and his wife Hannah of New Iberia, Jordan Bearb and his wife Whitney of Baton Rouge, Corey Bearb of Baton Rouge, Cullen Hebert of Cocodrie, and Mason Hebert of Breaux Bridge.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Mathilda and Roy Richard; one grandson, Tyler Marks; his first wife, Hazel Richard; his second wife, Rose Nell Richard; his third wife, Terilla Richard; one sister, Belzire Richard; and two brothers, Steven Richard and Patrick Richard.
Woodley was the owner of Woodley’s Auto Repair for over 30 years. He loved life and enjoyed being outdoors. In his free time you could find him camping, fishing, traveling, and cooking for friends and family.
Pallbearers were Jason Baudoin, Cullen Hebert, Mason Hebert, Reni Landry, Will Mims, Dylan Nowell, Michael Nowell and Jonathan Roy. Honorary pallbearers were Chris Hebert, Dwayne Letchworth and Ernest Richard.
Walters Funeral Home (337-706-8941), 2424 North University Avenue in Lafayette, was in charge of funeral arrangements.
