Wesley Serrett

Henderson - A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, May 26, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church for Wesley Serrett, 94, who passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2018.
Interment followed at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
A veteran of WWII, he served as a sailor in the Pacific theater. He was involved in eight major battles and many lesser ones as well.
He is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Jeff (Diana) Davis; two grandchildren, and one great- grandchild,.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Usie Serrett; a son, Richard Serrett; brothers, Milton, A.J., Nolan, Jessie and Clifton Serrette; and two sisters, Yola Collette and Ella M. Keith.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Henderson was in charge of arrangements.
