Wade Joseph Watkins

St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, Feb. 3, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church for Wade Joseph Watkins, 90, who passed away on Sunday, Jan. 28, 2018, at AMC in Park Place Care Facility.
Entombment followed at St. Michael Mausoleum.
A World War II veteran, he retired from the United States Army after 42 years of service.
He is survived by a son, Kirk Watkins; three daughters, Mrs. John (Phyllis) Castille, Mrs. Scott (Patty) Boudreaux and Mrs. Richard (Lori) Hurst; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Kathryn Chastant Watkins.
Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville was in charge of arrangements.
