Therese Oline Guidry

Cecilia – A Private Service will be held for the immediate family of Therese Oline Guidry, 90, who passed away on Friday, April 17, 2020, at J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home.
Oline was an amazing seamstress who enjoyed creating wonderful pieces for her family and those in the neighborhood. She always had a hot meal prepared for anyone who came to visit as a way of expressing her love and hospitality. In her spare time, she could be found reading a good book or novel. The best moments of her life were those shared with her family and friends.
She is survived by her sons, Norman Guidry and wife Sarah, Norris Guidry and wife Yvonne, Robby Guidry and wife Janice, and Willis Guidry and wife Charla, all of Cecilia; sisters, Iva Theriot and husband Pierre of Catahoula, Elmae Picard and husband Purvis of New Iberia and Sadia B. Guilbeau of Cecilia; grandchildren, Travis Guidry and spouse Melanie, Lori G. Bienvenu and spouse Gerard, Cody Guidry and spouse Kristina, April Sonnier and spouse Byron, Shelli Guidry, and Corey Castille; great-grandchildren, Skyler Sonnier, Arden Sonnier, Gavin Guidry, Bennett Guidry, Matthew Bienvenu, Andre Bienvenu and Caroline Elizabeth Guidry.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Malven Guidry; parents, Placide and Emma Landry Belaire; brothers, Clevans Belaire, Loiston Belaire and Earles Belaire; and a sister, Earline B. Degetaire.
