Ruby Patin Robin

Cecilia – A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church for Ruby Patin Robin, 91, who passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021.

Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home in Cecilia from 8 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Thursday.

A rosary wase prayed at 10:30 on Thursday.

Rev. Lloyd F. Benoit officiated at the Funeral Mass.

Interment followed at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Henderson.

Ruby was born on the Atchafalaya River, on September 4, 1930. She was married to the love of her life for 56 years. They spent their free time dancing and enjoying life to the fullest. She raised three girls and she enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and friends. 

She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughters, Judy Olivier (Eddie), Arlene Dupuis (Eddie) and Bridget Suire (Matt); grandchildren, Brock Dupuis (Kristy), Jeremy Barras and Grant Barras; great-grandchildren, Gage Dupuis and Noah Dupuis; brother, Irving Patin (Marie); and sister-in-law and best friend, Loraine LeBlanc.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Germaine and Jeanette Keith Patin; beloved husband, Harold Robin; grandchild, Brook Dupuis; sister, Gladys P. Brasseaux; and her brothers, Raymond Patin, Ernest Patin, Jim Patin and Thomas Patin.

Pallbearers were Eddie Dupuis, Eddie Olivier, Matt Suire, Brock Dupuis, Jeremy Barras and Grant Barras.

Honorary pallbearers were Noah Dupuis, Gage Dupuis and Irving Patin.

The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to Dr. Degatur and the entire staff of St. Martin Hospital for the wonderful care provided to her.

Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia was in charge of arrangements.
