Growing up he enjoyed fishing with friends whether it be Bayou Portage or the Ruth Bridge or Lake Martin, it was definitely something he loved to do and had a natural talent for it.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents, James Leston Doré and Hermina Ann Patin Doré; grandparents, John Doré and Rose Allemond Doré, and Oleus Patin and Vinette Champagne Patin.
A memorial will be celebrated in his honor. “Ricky wished that his body could be an anatomical gift to be studied by doctors due to his longevity of kidney dialysis.” He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
“I for one, and the old childhood gang, will truly miss you.”
