Reverend Fulton Allen Raymond Sr.

St. Martinville – Homegoing Services for Rev. Fulton A. Raymond Sr. will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2020, at 11 a.m. at Mallalieu United Methodist Church.
Public visitation at the church will precede the funeral service from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Mallalieu UMC Cemetery.
On Friday, January 31, 2020, Rev. Fulton A. Raymond Sr. passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family.
Reverend Fulton Allen Raymond Sr. loved life and lived it to the fullest. He loved his church, his family and his community. For many years, he touched many lives in the community as an Educator in the St. Martin Parish School System, holding positions of Teacher, Assistant Principal and Principal.
After 33 years in Education, he entered the ministry of the United Methodist Church, where he served as Pastor at various churches in the Lafayette District.
His hobbies were fishing, playing pool and playing chess. He was loved by everyone who was blessed enough to know him. He was truly a person of integrity, honesty, faith and love. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and a friend and mentor to many in the community.
He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter: Paulette Raymond-Williams (Dennis Paul Williams); his granddaughters, Hillary Raymond, Ryan Denise Williams (Cordell Turmon) and Meaghan Raymond; his great-grandchildren, Ashton Raymond, Armani Frank, Rylie Williams and Kadin Williams; sister, Sara Raymond; brother, Frank Raymond; and god-daughter, Tammy Charles-Daye.
