Nolan Joseph Broussard

Coteau Holmes – Private Services will be held for the immediate family of Nolan Joseph Broussard, 93, who passed away on Monday, April 6, 2020, at Southeast Louisiana War Veterans Home.
Nolan honorably served his country in the United States Army during WWII. He loved spending time outdoors - hunting and fishing. He enjoyed walking his property and attending supper club with his friends. Nolan was an employee of TL James for 41 years. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his sons, Kenneth Broussard and wife Janice, and Reniel Broussard and wife Helen; daughter, Geraldine Broussard and companion Will Gary Sr.; brother, Oswald Broussard; grandchildren, Heather B. White and husband Jason, Amy B. Delaune and husband Keith, Erin B. Nazarian and husband Johnathan, Corey Broussard, Dodie S. Champagne and husband Dale, Baret Savoie and fiancée Shanna Bourke, Tammy B. Laviolette and husband Chad, Tara B. Lasseigne and husband Collins, Tracey Broussard, Joshua Broussard and Brodie Broussard; 18 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Dorothy Broussard; and his good friend, Anna Mae Gauthier.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Annie Lou Broussard; father, Reniel Broussard; mother, Denise Bonin Broussard; son, Nolan J. Broussard Jr.; grandson, Blake Matthew Broussard; brothers, Harold Broussard and Mayo Broussard; and sister, Lula Belle Tauzin.
A special thank you to his helpful neighbors, Shiela, Carrol, Brock, and Brittney Horton, and his caretaker, Mary Martin who took excellent care of him for two years.
