Mrs. Eva Bell JeanBaptiste

Broussard – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Mrs. Eva Bell JeanBaptiste, 94, at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, 2020, at Saint Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Thomas James, celebrant.
She will await the resurrection at Saint Michael Cemetery in Saint Martinville, Louisiana.
A gathering of family and friends will begin at 8 a.m. Saturday at the church until time of service with a rosary to be recited at 10 a.m.
A native and resident of Cade, La. she passed at 6:40 p.m. Friday, February 7, 2020 at her residence.
She leaves to cherish her memory, five sons, Joseph Celestine (Mary) of Riverside, Cal., Teddy Celestine (Jane) of Latham, N.Y., Terry Celestine (Florence) and Elridge Celestine (Janie), both of Saint Martinville, La. and Illinois Celestine of Schenectady, N.Y.; one daughter, Geneva Davis (Edward) of Saint Martinville, La.; one sister, Emily D. Henry of Ysilanti, Mich.; one sister-in-law, Helen JeanBaptiste of Houston, Texas; one brother-in-law, Frank Celestine of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Amanda Polidore, Chadward Davis, Derek J. She was preceded in death by her husband, Irving Celestine; her parents, Louis JeanBaptiste Sr. and Lucinda Moore JeanBaptiste; one infant son; one daughter, Mary Youlone Williams; two brothers, Eurick JeanBaptiste and Louis JeanBaptiste Jr.; and six sisters, Inez Ceasar.
