Mrs. Corinna Mitchell

St. Martinville – Services were conducted for Mrs. Corinna Mitchell, 78, the former Corinna Robertson, at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2018, at Notre Dame Catholic Church with Father Darrell Kelly officiating.
Visitation was at the church from 7 a.m. until time of services.
The Rosary was recited at 8:30 a.m. at the church.
She was a lifelong resident of St. Martinville,.
She passed on Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2018, at her residence.
The family gives special thanks to Hospice of Acadiana, Golden Meadows Funeral Home and Notre Dame Catholic Church.
She is survived by two sons, Leonard Mitchell and Jeffery Mitchell; fivw saughters, Roxanne Mitchell, Phyllis Alexander, Brenda Demochet, Kelly Mitchell and Tessa Mitchell; four brothers, Joseph (Smith) Robertson, James Robertson, Peter Robertson and Randolph Robertson Jr.; five sisters, Lena Dauphine, Majorie Narcisse, Cornelia Robertson, Mary Francis and Martha Jean Robertson; 27 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great- grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Louise Robertson; farther, Randolph Robertson; a son, Joshua James Mitchell; and a sister, Agnes Robertson.
Pallbearers were Leonard Mitchell, Jeffery Mitchell, Clayton Alexander Jr., Richard Batiste, Bryson Demouchet and Jamal Mitchell.
Honorary pallbearers were McKenzie Mitchell, Latrell Mitchell, Paul Demouchet Jr., Keenan Mitchell, Kendrell Mitchell, Phalijah Alexander and Clayton Alexander Sr..
