Mrs. Beverly Ann James

St. Martinville – Services will be conducted for Mrs. Beverly Ann James, 71, the former Beverly Ann Butler, on Saturday, February 15, 2020, at 10 a.m. at the Golden Meadows Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Stephena Proctor officiating.
Interment will be in the House of Love Cemetery in St. Martinville.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. at the Funeral Home until time of services.
She was a native and lifelong resident of St. Martinville, Louisiana.
She passed on Saturday, February 1, 2020, at her residence.
She is survived by three brothers, Joseph Butler, Harry Chretien and Roosevelt Voohries; and four sisters, Elnora Butler, Clara Butler, Irene Butler and Eula Brown.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Alton James Jr.; father, Sam Voorhies; mother, Nora Butler; and father and mother-in-law, Alton and Lovenia Charles James.
The Golden Meadows Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
