Mona Reece

Lafayette – Mona Reece, 54, died on Sunday, April 15, 2018, at her residence in Lafayette.
She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Heather Guidroz and companion Ryan Cormier, and Deanna Ryan Daugherty and her husband Joseph; four grandchildren, Ira Laurent Cormier, Adaline Daugherty, Augustus Daugherty and Theodore Daugherty; two sisters, Phyllis Hale and her husband Ken, and Sandie Long and her husband Robert; her nieces and nephews, Kathryn Hale, Lucas Hale, Gabrielle Hale and Jake Long; and her K-9 companion, Ben.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Deanna Landry Reece.
Mona Reece, originally from Breaux Bridge, was a long-time resident of Lafayette. She enjoyed quilting and crocheting in her spare time. Ms. Reece was a true lover of animals, adored her family, and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She had a generous spirit, and a huge heart that will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
