St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2019, at Notre Dame Catholic Church for Mary Lois Williams, who passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2019, at Touro Infirmary.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Friday and continue on Saturday from 7 a.m. until 9:30 a.m.
A rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. on Friday.
Monsignor Daniel Stack will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Concelebrants will be Reverend Daniel H. Green and Reverend Michael Sucharski.
Interment will follow at St. Michael Mausoleum in St. Martinville.
Mary was born in St. Martinville to the late Wallace and Cecile Gerard Wiltz. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, and spending time with her family and friends. Mary will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Walleen F. Williams of Houston, Texas; granddaughter, Reese Harper Kendal Joseph; sisters, Beverly Watterson and Genevieve Batiste; brothers, Cesal Wiltz Sr. and wife Mary, Warren Wiltz and wife Valencia, and Rodney Gerard; nieces, Kaye Watterson, Valana Wiltz, Jayna Gerard, Jayden Gerard and Hope Yvonne Menard; nephews, Sean Wiltz, Casey Wiltz and Cesal Wiltz Jr.; her aunt, Modella Gerard; and a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Napolean Williams; mother, Cecile Francois Wiltz; father, Wallace Paul Wiltz; and sister, Perita Wiltz.
Pallbearers will be Sean Wiltz, Casey Wiltz, Cesal Wiltz Jr., Marcel Porter, Terrance Menard and Wendell Charles.
