Breaux Bridge – A Funeral Service was held at on Saturday, Oct. 5, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Jerry “Garbo” Dupuis, 73, who passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2019.
Interment followed at Lafayette Memorial Park in Lafayette.
He is survived by his son, Kirk Dupuis; daughter, Mrs. Jeff (Melissa) Eslinger; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; the mother of his children, Thelma A. Hollier; brothers, Larry and Jacques Dupuis Jr.; and sisters, Mrs. Kim (Sandra) Lastrapes and Mrs. Don (Pamela) Shadrick.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Pool; and three grandchildren; and his companion of 22 years, Debra Hersey.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
