Jacob Michael Comb

Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, December 10, 2018, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Jacob Michael Comb, 32, who passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2018.
Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Sunday and continued on Monday at 7:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m.
A rosary was prayed at 7 p.m. on Sunday.
Rev. Stephen Pellessier officiated at the Funeral Mass. The reader was Janet Lasseigne. Gift Bearers were Laura Mouton and Angela Prejean.
Interment followed at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Jacob was a graduate of Breaux Bridge Senior High – Class of 2004. He received his Associate’s Degree in Process Technology at Remington College. Jacob honorably served in the United States Air National Guard, completing a technical program in heating ventilation and air conditioning. He was currently employed by Louisiana Sugar Cane Cooperative as an operation’s assistant.
Jacob enjoyed cooking with family and friends, keeping up with current events in our nation, such as politics, and most importantly, spending all of his time with his son, Kaigan. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his parents, Michael and Linda Peoples Comb; his son, Kaigan Comb; his sister, Jillian Webb and husband Jeremy; his nephew, Kohen Bourque; his companion, Brandy Lancon; and his dog, Piper.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Louis and Laura “T-Lou” Comb; maternal grandfather, Alfred F. Peoples; maternal grandmother, Shirley Golden Herman; great-grandmother, Ann Lightener Benoit; and uncles, Rickie Comb, Alfred Peoples Jr. and Leonard Lasseigne.
Pallbearers were Jeremy Webb, Charles Peoples, Brent Mouton, Kyle Mouton, Andrew Mouton and Casey Comb.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
