Glenda Ann Hardy

Henderson – A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 25, 2018, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church for Glenda Ann Theriot Hardy, 64, who passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2018, at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 2 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Friday and continued on Saturday at 7 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
A rosary was prayed at 7 p.m. on Friday.
Rev. Garrett Savoie officiated at the Funeral Mass. Readers were Carol LeBlanc and Holly Wenzl. Gift Bearers were Bradley J. Hardy Jr. and Katrina Richard.
Interment followed at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Henderson.
Glenda was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She married the love of her life, Bradley, and they’ve been together for 29 wonderful years.
Glenda loved going to the camp, vacationing at the beach, going crabbing and eating boiled crabs, playing cards, Pokeno, and occasional trips to the casino. Her most treasured times were those spent with her family. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Bradley Jude Hardy Sr.; her son, Bradley Jude Hardy Jr. and companion Katrina Richard; their four children and one grandson, of Henderson; daughter, Monica Marie Mouton of Henderson; sisters, Gloria Robin of Henderson, Lorena Tauzin and husband Charlie of Poche Bridge, and Priscilla Theriot of St. Martinville; her grandchildren, Mark Jude Bonin Jr., Chasidy Marie Bonin, Chris Jude Guidry Jr., Harley Marie Bonin and Kaylie Hebert; and her great-grandchild, Layah Aurelia Viator.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney and Aurelia Montet Theriot; brothers, Dunice, Leslie, and Nelson Theriot; and her sister, Vivian Theriot.
Pallbearers were Bradley Jude Hardy Jr., Mark Jude Bonin Jr., Chris Jude Guidry Jr., Shane Dauphine, Skylor Richard and Austin Theriot.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Henderson was in charge of arrangements.
