Gary Jones LeBlanc

Cecilia – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 23, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Gary Jones LeBlanc, 80, who passed away on Friday, January 19, 2018.
Visiting hours were observed from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. on Monday and continued on Tuesday at 7 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia.
A rosary was prayed at 70 .p.m on Monday.
Rev. Neil Pettit officiated at the Funeral Mass. Readers were Kayla Latiolais and Monica Domingue. Gift bearers were Jason and Rae Guidry, and Benjamin and Kathryn Theriot.
Interment followed at St. Joseph Mausoleum in Cecilia.
Gary was born in Breaux Bridge to the late Francis and Alice Guidry LeBlanc. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Gary started his business in brick laying when he was 26 years old and continued his craftsmanship for over 50 years. He served on the Henderson Council, St. Martin Parish School Board, and as a Justice of the Peace for several years. Although he was from Breaux Bridge, he was a huge Cecilia Bulldog fan and would travel to all the games with his brother-in-law, Erral. Gary enjoyed cooking, hunting, and spending time with his family and friends. Gary will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his son, Dutz LeBlanc and wife Margaret; his daughters, Penni Guidry and husband Andrew, and Charee Theriot and husband Kerwin; his brothers, Jack LeBlanc, David LeBlanc and Charlie LeBlanc and wife Mary Ann; his sisters, Jonell Darby, Rookie LeBlanc and husband Erral, and Karen Miller and husband Ronnie; his sisters-in-law, Rebecca LeBlanc and Dianne Hebert and husband Francis; his grandchildren, Randi Oates and spouse Matthew, Selleck LeBlanc, Rae Guidry, Jason Guidry, Benjamin Theriot and Kathryn Theriot; and his great-grandson, Matthew Harrison Oates.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Catherine Guidry LeBlanc; parents, Francis and Alice Guidry LeBlanc; and his brothers, Robert and Andy LeBlanc.
Pallbearers were Andrew Guidry, Kerwin Theriot, Selleck LeBlanc, Matthew Oatess, Link Hebert and Erral LeBlanc.
Honorary pallbearers werbe Jack, David and Charlie LeBlanc, Francis LeBlanc, John Bijeaux, Ronnie Miller, Francis Hebert and Andy LeBlanc Jr.
