Dolores Daigle

Arnaudville – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 3, 2017, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church for Dolores Daigle, 69, who passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2017. Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 10:30 a.m. on Friday and continued until 10 a.m. on Saturday. A rosary was prayed at 7 p.m. on Friday. Rev. Keenan Brown officiated at the Funeral Mass. Interment followed at Consolata Cemetery in Lake Charles. Dolores enjoyed sewing, doing arts and crafts, going shopping, and cooking. She loved traveling and visiting with her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. She is survived by her son, John Glenn Leger and wife Tina; her daughters, Tammy Himel and husband John of Breaux Bridge, and Laurie Kirl and husband Terry; brothers, Joseph “JY” Savoie and wife Caroline, Curtis Savoie and wife Tina, Ophie Savoie and wife Sariena, and Floyd Savoie and wife Rita; sisters, Rose Stelly, Enola Knott and husband Percy, and Betty Boudreaux and husband Larry; grandchildren, Ashley, Vaden, Taylor, Trey, Dylan, Kamran, Christian, Joshua, and Kaysha; great-grandchildren, Jaylen and Vivian; and her dear friend, Elaine Bonin, whom she called her angel and was with her on her journey from beginning to end. She was preceded in death by husband, Will Ray Daigle; her parents, Ovie Charles Savoie and Evelyn Richard Savoie; sisters, Edna Stelly, Durlee Devillier, Joyce Bernard, Maudrey Devillier and Norma Savoie. Pellerin Funeral Home of Arnaudville was in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were John Glenn Leger, Curtis Savoie, Ophie Savoie, Joshua Leger, Larry Boudreaux and Dillion Kirl.
