Dawson James LeBlanc

Cecilia – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Dawson James LeBlanc, who passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2018.
Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Monday and continued on Tuesday at 7 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
A rosary was prayed at 7 p.m. on Monday.
Rev. Neil Pettit officiated at the Funeral Mass. Interment followed at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia.
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5  
Dawson loved kicking his daddy in the back when we were sleeping. He loved snuggling up on his momma in the womb and sharing her heartbeat. But most of all, he loves being in Heaven with our Holy Family more than anything. He is the purest form of an angel there is, and he is honored to be a child of God. 
... And to think, the first thing he saw when his little eyes opened was the face of Jesus.
He is survived by his loving parents, Trent and Collette LeBlanc; grandparents, Jonas “Papit” and Nicole “Mamit” Angelle, and Sheree “G-Ree” Blanchard; great-grandparents, Simon and Jo Ann Angelle, Ronnie and Ruby Guidry, and Terry and Betty LeBlanc; uncle, Jonas “JC” Angelle Jr.; godmother, Abby Angelle; and godfather, Brennan Roberts.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Shelby LeBlanc; and great-grandparents, Sharon and Robert Blanchard, and Margie LeBlanc.
Pallbearers were Garth Frederick and Zachary Latiolais. 
Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia was in charge of arrangements.
