Ashley Marie Lasseigne

Catahoula – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2018, at St. Rita Catholic Church for Ashley Marie Lasseigne, 34, who passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, in Breaux Bridge.
Visiting hours were observed at the Dion Hall from 2 p.m. on Friday until service time on Saturday. A rosary was prayed at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
Rev. Richard Fabre officiated at the Mass of Christian Burial. Readers werbe Stacy Powell and Tasha Robicheaux. Interment followed at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery in Catahoula.
Ashley graduated from Breaux Bridge High School in 2002 and received an associate’s degree with Remington College in Lafayette. She was very big on starting her day off with motivational speeches on Facebook every morning; she motivated and uplifted so many people. Ashley loved getting dressed up, but she also loved riding her four-wheeler and playing in the mud. Her children and her wonderful parents were her everything. She was a wonderful mother who lived and breathed for her babies. Ashley would workout daily and wanted to stay fit and healthy for her twins. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile that would light up a room when she entered and her personality that made others enjoy her presence.
She is survived by her loving parents, Yola L. and Randall Paul Lasseigne; her twins, Aubrey Marie Hudson and Eben Mitchell Hudson of Henderson; and her paternal grandmother, Pauline Lasseigne of Henderson.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Dalfred Lasseigne; maternal grandparents, Ila Mae and Wilson Joseph LeBlanc Sr.; her cousin, Kyle James Bonin; and her uncle, Dennis LeBlanc.
Pallbearers were Clarence Bonin Jr., Timmy Lasseigne, Lennet Berard III, Adam Orgeron, Dylan Lasseigne and Mark Blanchard.
Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
