Anthony Berard Jr.

St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 27, at Notre Dame Catholic Church for Anthony “Punta” Berard Jr., 82, who passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at his residence.
Visiting hours will be observed at Notre Dame Catholic Church from 7 a.m. until the time of service.
Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery.
Mr. Anthony was a member of the American Legion and DAV (Disabled Vet).
He is survived by his daughters, Beverly Roberts and Yvette Beauchamp; sons, Patrick Sr. and Mark Berard; sister, Cora L. Jacobs; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Willis Drake and Charles Ambrose; and sisters, Dolores Ambrose and Rose M. Alexander.
