Anthony ‘Tony’ Charles Rodriguez

Breaux Bridge – A Memorial Service was held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2019, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Anthony “Tony” Charles Rodriguez, 50, who passed away on Monday, July 8, 2019, in Breaux Bridge.
Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday.
A rosary was prayed at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
Deacon Marcel “Butch” Hebert officiated at the Memorial Service. Readers were Sherry LeBlanc and Sandra Borel.
Anthony, known to many as Tony, graduated from Breaux Bridge High School in 1988 and went on to take up the trade as an electrician. He enjoyed gardening, spending time with his family and friends and his dog, Canai, and riding his Harley Davidson. Tony never felt that riding his motorcycle was a hobby or a need, but a passion that filled his heart with joy.
He is survived by his loving mother, Rita Huval and husband Phil of Baton Rouge; brother, Randal E. Rodriguez and wife Millie of Breaux Bridge; niece, Carley Rodriguez of Youngsville; and nephew, Evan Rodriguez of San Diego, Cal.
He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel James Rodriguez; maternal grandparents, Francis J. and Ida Mae LeBlanc Broussard; and paternal grandparents, Lionel and Mabel Latiolais Rodriguez.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a memorial donation, in Tony’s name, to a charity of your choice.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
