Lee was known in her community as a hard-working woman. She was always in her yard cutting grass or grooming the grounds at St. Bernard and St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Churches. Lee always made sure all of our local priests had good food to eat. A devout Catholic and known as our own local prayer warrior, Lee kept a list of special intentions for everyone in the community who needed prayers. Lee loved spending time in the Chapel of Perpetual Adoration reflecting on every blessing in life. She loved praying the rosary, attending Mass daily since 1978 alongside her husband, Bob, and visiting with those who just needed to hear her words of encouragement.
Lee cared for her father in the nursing home for many years and while there, she gave perms, cut and fixed hair, and made the ladies feel beautiful. She cared for her mother, Mabel, until her time of passing.
Lee worked at Martin Mills, Evangeline Pepper and Food, Bob’s Grocery, Cajun Hut, and was a Food and Safety Consultant with Crawfish Town USA. Lee will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Robert “Bob” Theriot; brothers, Harris Hulin of St. Martinville, Harry Hulin and wife Janice of Lafayette, and C.J. Hulin and wife Laura of Lafayette; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Hulin Sr. and Mabel Landry Hulin.
