Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Lafayette.
Rev. Michael Delcambre will conduct the services. Scriptures will be read by Allison Melancon and Stephanie Broussard.
His great-grandchildren will serve as Gift Bearers.
Bob enjoyed working in his yard, gardening, and growing produce to share with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Barbara Hernandez Huval of Cecilia; his son, Shannon Robert Huval and his companion Barbara Breaux of Carencro; his daughters, Jodi Huval Frederick and her husband Jeff of Cecilia, and Sheryl Huval Broussard and her husband Ronald of Parks; his sister, Mary Lou Caillier and her husband Ralph Caillier Sr. of Nina; his eight grandchildren, Natalie Broussard Mannery, Erica Bourgeois, Stephanie Broussard, Aaron Broussard, Shannon “Robbie” Huval II, Stewart Huval, Kaylor Frederick and Kereé Frederick; and nine great-grandchildren, Ian, Elise and Abby Bourgeois, Steward Evans and Victoria Huval, Shawn and Destiny Huval, and Adalie and Kaylor Frederick II.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Evans Huval and Batistine Thibodeaux Huval; his sister, Geraldine Huval Hebert; and his niece, Kimberly Hebert Periou.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 8 a.m until 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Broussard, Shannon “Robbie” Huval II, Stewart Huval, Kaylor Frederick, Kereé Frederick and Bill Mannery.
Honorary pallbearers will be Shannon Huval, Jeff Frederick and Ronald Broussard.
