Breaux Bridge – Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 15, 2010, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Anna Mae Degeyter Menard, 88, who passed away on Friday, July 9, 2010, at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette.

Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2.

Survivors include her sons, Ivan John Menard of New Iberia, Ron James Menard (Liana) of Breaux Bridge, Thomas Dale Menard (Verna Jean) of Columbia, PA and Norris Mitchell Menard of New Iberia; her brothers, Wilbert and Lloyd Degeyter both of Breaux Bridge; her sisters, Wildie Degeyter Roberts of Breaux Bridge and Elaine Degeyter Perioux of St. Martinville, 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dalton Mitchell Menard; her parents, Angelbert and Inez Frederick Degeyter; and her brothers, Wilson and William Degeyter.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 9:30 a.m.until 9 p.m. on Wednesday and continue at 7 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. on Thursday.

A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
