Pastor Michael Robicheaux, Mrs. Robicheaux’s son, will officiate the services.
Mrs. Robicheaux was born September 14, 1923, in Loreauville, and was a resident of St. Martinville.
Mrs. Robicheaux was a wonderful mother and grandmother.
She loved animals, watching television and reading.
Mrs. Robicheaux enjoyed spending time with her family, and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her six daughters: Rona Thibodeaux and her companion Bob Comb; Hedy Estilette and her husband Russell; Jenny Hulin and her husband Jessie; Debby Usey and her husband William and Jane Martin and her husband Gregory, all of New Iberia, and Tammy Berard and her husband Dwayne of St. Martinville; two sons, Curtis Robicheaux and his companion Nancy Katie of Marion, Iowa and Michael Robicheaux and his wife Cathy of St. Martinville; twenty-one grandchildren and twenty-six great grandchildren.
Mrs. Robicheaux is also survived by two brothers, Charlie Chataignier and Gene Chataignier, and four sisters: Marie Neuville, Gertrude Crochet, Joyce Laviolette and Rose Albert, all of Loreauville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elfige Joseph Robicheaux; one daughter, Audrey Rivette; one son, Mark Robicheaux; three grandchildren, Dawn Lilley, Skipper Lilley and Corey James Hulin. Mrs. Robicheaux is also preceded in death by her parents, Oazier and Eula Mae Landry Chataignier; three brothers, George Chataignier, Wade Chataignier and Oazier Chataignier, Jr.; two sisters, Eula Mae Olivier and Beverly Chataignier and her daughter-in-law, Judy Trahan Robicheaux.
Pallbearers were Kelvin Robicheaux, Kirk Robicheaux, Kasey Robicheaux, Jordan Brasseaux, Dennis Rivette and Dwayne Berard.
Honorary pallbearers were Gregory Martin.
Evangeline Funeral Homes, Inc. of St. Martinville was in charge of arrangements.
