Milton – Ashley Marie Broussard and Cole Joseph Bernard were united in marriage during an evening Mass on May 29, 2010, at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Deacon Cody Miller officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Kurt Broussard of Baskin and Vickie Crochet Broussard of Loreauville. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Creig Bernard of Abbeville.

The bride was escorted down the aisle by her parents. She wore an ivory, satin A-line gown with a side drape. The dress had a champagne-colored, intricate lace beading around the sweetheart neckline, hem and chapel train. The back of the dress featured a corset tie.

She carried a hand-tied bouquet of ivory roses.

Maid of honor was Jamie Broussard Quinn. Bridesmaids were Megan Angelle, cousin of the bride; and Joni Horton Tignor.

Flower girls were Leah Bernard, daughter of the groom and Lauren Bernard, neice of groom.

Best man was Brennen Bernard, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Corey Guidry and Randy Lilly.

Usher was Kyle Hebert, cousin of the groom.

Following the wedding ceremony, a reception was held at the Picard Park Civic Center.

After a honeymoon in Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple will reside in Abbeville.
