Breaux Bridge – Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, May 24, 2010, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Agles Mary Cormier, 86, who passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2010, at her residence.

Interment followed at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 1.

Readers were Kourtni Robert and Leslie Robert. Gift Bearers were Kourtni and Trey Robert.

Agles enjoyed dancing and she was very meticulous about keeping her home clean. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda Cormier Fruge and her husband Richard Fruge Sr. of Breaux Bridge; her sister, Ruby Locricchio; her grandchildren, Ricky Fruge and Leslie Robert; and her great-grandchildren, Kourtni Robert, Trey Robert, Carice Robert, Gaige Dugas, Evan Fruge and Hayden Fruge.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy B. Cormier; her parents, Robert and Honora Thibodeaux Champagne; her sisters, Gertrude C. Calais, Mickie C. Streigle and Ruth C. Martin; and her brothers, Percy Luke and Andrew Champagne.

A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. on Sunday.

Pallbearers were Ronald Thibodeaux, Gaige Dugas, Ricky Fruge, Shane Robert, Donald Peltier and Wayne Stoutes.

Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
