Interment followed at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2.
Survivors include two daughters, Shirley T. Bonin and Mrs. Alan (Betty) T. Cormier all of St. Martinville; one son, Oriste P. Theriot Jr. of Breaux Bridge; one sister, Rose LaBishe of Texas; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Hayes Theriot; a grandson; and his sister, Verna “Mae Mae” Daigle.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
