Interment followed at St. Michael Cemetery.
Scriptures were read by her granddaughters. Gifts were presentd to the Altar by her grandchildren.
Mrs. Standridge was a Regent in the Catholic Daughters of St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church and a member of the church choir for over 10 years. She enjoyed camping and traveling, especially to New Orleans. She made a spiritual trip to Medjugorie, Czech Republic. She enjoyed the Shell Pension Club. Winona was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
Survivors include her husband, Joe D. Standridge; her sons, Daniel Fuselier (Debbie), Steve Fuselier (Brenda) and Byron Fuselier (Paula); her daughters, Arlene Guillot (Rolland “Porkchop”) and Christine Bourque (David) all of St. Martinville; her stepsons, Joe “Joey” Standridge Jr. (Rea) of Stepehville, Texas, Paul Standridge (Hazel) of New Iberia, John Standridge (Jodie) of Loreauville and William J. Standridge of St. Martinville; “Maw Maw Sweetheart’s” grandchildren, Shane, Travis, Steve Jr., Byron Jr., and Lana Fuselier, David Bourque Jr., Sandy Trosclair, Marcelle Hebert, Ashley Guidry and Simone Guillot; her step grandchildren, Joey IV, Dawn, Steven, Jennifer, Dana, Jeremy, Jamie, Eric, Erin, Jonathan, Jill, Jacob, Rollie, and Jordan; six great-grandchildren and 14 step great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Etienne and Antonia Champagne Wiltz; her stepson, Eric Standridge Sr.; her grandson, Daniel Fuselier Jr.; her great-granddaughter, Katelyn Hebert; her step granddaughter, Jade Standridge; and her sister, Lou Ella Huval.
A rosary was recited at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
Pallbearers were Shane Fuselier, Travis Fuselier, Steven Fuselier Jr., Byron Fuselier Jr., David Bourque Jr. and Eric Standridge.
Honorary pallbearers were Daniel Fuselier, Steve Fuselier, Byron Fuselier, William Standridge, John Standridge, Paul Standridge and Joe Standridge Jr.
The family wishes to thank Rev. Ed Degeyter, Rev. Joseph Padinjarepeedika and Rev. Leger for their spiritual support to the family in their time of need. Extra special thanks to Lisa Thomas for the wonderful care she provided. Special thanks to Heart of Hospice and St. Agnes Nursing Home.
