Angelle should decide: Democrat or Republican?

After reading “Pense Donc!” today, I sincerely hope that I misread that State Natural Resources Secretary Scott Angelle, if he decides to run for U.S. Rep. Charlie Melancon’s seat, is undecided on whether he would run as a Democrat or as a Republican.<!--break-->

Does he not understand the vast difference between the two? Especially with all that is going on in our country today, you MUST know whether you are a liberal or a conservative. Shouldn’t we all have strong core beliefs? And if one desires to run for public office, shouldn’t one have the courage of his convictions? How can one be undecided about something so fundamental and important?

Oh, how foolish of me! Of course, it all depends upon which label is more likely to get a prospective candidate elected. I find this deeply troubling and disappointing.
