Parks resident Shane Fontenot (right), who boxes for the Ragin’ Cajun Boxing Club, scored a second round TKO victory over David Miranto of Sorrento in a May 23 match in Sorrento. Fontenot and his sons, Chance and Kade, who are Louisiana Golden Gloves champions, will compete in the Governors Games boxing tournament in Lafayette June 19-21 at Lafayette High School.
