Guidroz, Sheriff of St. Landry Parish would like to inform the public that the St. Landry Parish Sheriff Tax Department will be holding its 2008 Tax Sale on Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at 10:00am in the St. Landry Parish Courthouse on First (1st) Floor, Suite#132. If you own property in St. Landry Parish and have not paid the taxes for 2008, please address this matter to avoid the property being sold at the 2008 Tax Sale. At this time, taxes can no longer be paid with a check due to the fact we are approaching our 2008 Tax Sale. We can only accept cash, money orders or cashier’s checks to pay for 2008 delinquent taxes.

If you are an interested buyer for the 2008 Tax Sale, our office will start accepting registration information, in person or by telephone on Monday, May 18, 2009, and ending on Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at 9:00am.
