Lazaro Fuentes, 28, of Dallas, TX, was arrested April 11 in the rape of a woman at a hotel in Baker.

Fuentes is accused of raping the Executive Inn employee in one of the hotel’s bathrooms after entering the hotel at 6 p.m. Friday, April 10, an affidavit claims.

The victim told police that Fuentes asked her for a hug because it ws his birthday. When the woman opened a door to the counter area, the accused pulled her into a nearby bathroom and raped her, the document says.

Fuentes told police the woman consented to have sex with him, the affidavit states.

Fuentes, of 4359 Lake View, Apt. 123, is accused of one count of forcible rape.
