
Breaux Bridge – St. Bernard Catholic Church was the setting for the marriage of Tailee Schexnider to Paul Ryan Romero at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 4, 2009.
The bride is the daughter of Sandra H. Schexnider of Breaux Bridge and the late John K. Schexnider, and the groom’s parents are Eugene and Harry “Tickey” and Judy H. Romero of Breaux Bridge.
The bride was escorted by her brother Sethon John Schexnider.
Tasha S. Angelle, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Brettana Schexnider, sister of the bride; and Amanda P. Poirier. Jr. bridesmaids were Ana G. Angelle, godchild and niece of the bride; and Kinzlie Melancon, niece of the bride.
Daniel Hebert served as best man.
Groomsmen were Robbie Romero, brother of the groom; and William C. Romero, cousin of the groom. Jr. groomsman was Cezaire Green, godchild of the groom.
Bailyn Melancon, niece of the bride, served as flower girl and Asa Angelle, nephew of the bride, as ring bearer.
A reception was held at Marielle’s in Breaux Bridge.
The couple honeymooned in a Treehouse cottage in Eureka Springs, Ark. They will reside in Breaux Bridge.
