An undergraduate scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior through the Vermilion Volunteers this year.

The $1,600 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating high school senior to cover a two-year period of time. The scholarship is to be used while attending, on a full-time basis, an accredited college or university in the state of Louisiana.

Applicants must have an overall academic average of 2.5 or higher for the years ninth through twelfth grades. Application deadline is April 17. For more information, contact Virgie B. Foreman, Scholarship Chair; Vermilion Volunteers for Family and Community, Inc.; 12840 LA Hwy 92; Maurice, LA 70555.
