Local Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) agents cited eight people recently.

Citations were issued to the following:

•Billy Joseph Doucet of Eunice was charged March 7, with failure to comply with no wake zone in Evangeline Parish, by Sgt. Scott D. Fontenot.

•Duffy Roy Manuel of Metairie was charged March 7, with improper riding on the deck, in Evangeline Parish, by Sgt. Scott D. Fontenot.

•Travis Shane Ducote of St. Landry was charged March 8, with angling without a license in Evangeline Parish, by Sgt. Scott D. Fontenot.

•Joshua D. Golman of Ville Platte was charged March 10, with gross littering in Evangeline Parish, by Sgt. Scott D. Fontenot and Senior Agent Steve Vidrine.

•Rod Mouille Jr. of Ville Platte was charged March 10, with gross littering in Evangeline Parish, by Senior Agent Steve Vidrine and Sgt. Scott D. Fontenot.

•Derrick Fontenot of Ville Platte was charged March 13, with simple littering in Evangeline Parish, by Sgt. Scott D. Fontenot and Senior Agent Steve Vidrine.

•Amanda M. Richard of Ville Platte was charged March 13, with illegal possession of marijuana in Evangeline Parish, by Senior Agent Steve Vidrine and Sgt. Scott D. Fontenot.

•Eleanor F. Deshotel of Mamou was charged March 23, with simple littering in Evangeline Parish, by Sgt. Scott D. Fontenot and Senior Agent Steve Vidrine.
