Catholic High soccer teams were honored at the team’s soccer banquet Friday, March 27. The Lady Panthers, coached by Jack Bienvenu of St. Martinville, reached the state semifinals in February. Honorees from St. Martin Parish included (from left): Anne Resweber, Team Chaplain and Spirit Award; Brooke Denaille, Junior Award; Ariele Bienvenu, first team All-District, District Offensive MVP, first team Best-of-Teche, Best-of-Teche MVP, two-time KANE Player of Game, Captain’s Award, Academic All-State Team and Division III first team All-State; Natalie Derouen, first team All-District, first team Best-of-Teche, CHS Defensive Player of the Year.
