Anna Alexander, accused of second-degree murder in the shooting of her husband at their Eunice home in April 2007, will undergo sanity evaluations on Monday and Thursday.

According to court documents, those reviews were set by Judge Donald W. Hebert last month when her attorney moved for a Sanity Commission hearing on the day jury selection was to begin.

The state objected, but Hebert granted a continuance, rescheduling pre-trial for Feb. 9 and jury selection for April 7 and 8.

Due to the Sanity Commission request being filed, the court minutes reflect, Hebert determined Alexander to be a danger to the community and revoked her bond, then denied her attorney’s motion to reconsider that revocation.
