The Florida Parishes 4-H Outdoor Skills program will host a 4-H Air Rifle Clinic on February 21, 2009 at the Florida Parishes Skeet and Gun Club/Amite. Ms. Kristen Walters (former member of the Ole Miss University Collegiate Shooting Team) will be at the clinic. She will assist 4-H’ers with proper shooting techniques. 

This event is sponsored by the Florida Parishes 4-H Outdoor Skills Program. It will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, February 21, 2009 at the Florida Parishes Skeet Club located about 2 miles east of Amite. 4-H clinic activities include, three position rifle demonstrations, practice stations for all positions, learn positions used for rifle competitions and plenty of rifle shooting and individual training. Participants are welcome to bring their own air guns, but they must be cased, Air Guns will also be provided. A $10 registration fee will cover pellets, targets and lunch.
