St. Martinville – Funeral services will be conducted for Mr. Louis Francis Dugas, 46, at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2008, at First United Pentecostal Church in Breaux Bridge with Rev. L. F. Long officiating. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Beaux Bridge.

Visitation will be held from 8 a.m. Wednesday at the First United Pentecostal Church in Breaux Bridge.

A native and resident of St. Martinville, Mr. Dugas passed away on Saturday,5:47 p.m. at his residence.

Louis was a soldier of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a loving and devoted son, brother, uncle and friend who was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was loved by all who knew him.

He is survived by his brothers, Ronald M. Dugas of Gulfport, Miss., Kenneth J. Dugas and his wife Linda B. of Franklinton, Christopher D. Dugas and wife Zehan of The Woodlands, Texas, and David R. Dugas and wife Melinda G. of St. Martinville; sister, Peggy D. Angelle and husband Perry J. of Cecilia; nephews, Scott and Benjamin Bienvenu and Harold “Pat” III, Koleman, Logan, and Jordan Dugas; nieces, Alexandra L. Angelle, Tammy G., Brooke N. and Krissya S. Dugas; great nephew, Ethan Bienvenu; and great niece, Miranda Dugas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Patrick and Corona Crawford Dugas; brothers, Harold “Sonny” Dugas Jr. and Leroy J. Dugas; sister, Delores Dugas Bienvenu; great niece, Angel E. Clements; and great nephew, Alek Bienvenu.

Pallbearers will be David Dugas, Kenneth Dugas, Christopher Dugas, Perry J. Angelle, Robert Laperouse and Harold Patrick Dugas III.

Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Broussard, Logan Dugas, Koleman Dugas and Ben Bienvenu.
