
Ville Platte High School held a drug-free march Friday, October 31, to promote a drug-free attitude throughout the school. The march began at the front of the main high school building, traveled down S. Coreil Street to Hickory Street and returned to the school grounds via High School Drive. Students participating in the march made their own drug-free signs with slogan like, “Don’t be a chicken, say no to drugs,” and “Drug free, don’t mess with me.” The parade was led by the Ville Platte High School band and dance team.
